Charles serves as a member of Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, an advising expert at Alumni Ventures Group, and Health Engine at UC Berkeley. He is a frequent speaker at prestigious events, including the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights Expert Workshop, the World Blockchain Summit, GenAI Summit San Francisco, Berkeley China Summit, IEEE Metaverse Congress, and more. Charles’ writings have garnered recognition on a global scale, spanning across China, the United States, Japan, and Norway. His expertise has been recognized by Forbes, Financial Times, and TedX. In 2021, Charles received the distinguished honor of being elected as one of the Forbes 60 Outstanding Chinese in North America, a testament to his exceptional achievements and profound influence in the field. 

Prior to Summit Zenith, Cheng held key roles in the corporate and legal sectors. He served as a Partner at Amino Capital, where he played pivotal roles in over 100 venture capital financing deals across diverse industries, including TMT, healthcare, AI and blockchain. He oversaw the venture capital firm's global legal affairs, including fund formation, fund management, deal structuring, investment negotiation, investor relations, board advising, and exit strategies. Additionally, he served as a Researcher at the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre, a PILnet Fellow at Columbia Law School, and a Program Director at Wuhan University PIDLI, where he managed legal projects sponsored by esteemed organizations such as the UNDP, the US Department of State, and the Ford Foundation, etc.
