Prior to Summit Zenith, Cheng held key roles in the corporate and legal sectors. He served as a Partner at Amino Capital, where he played pivotal roles in over 100 venture capital financing deals across diverse industries, including TMT, healthcare, AI and blockchain. He oversaw the venture capital firm's global legal affairs, including fund formation, fund management, deal structuring, investment negotiation, investor relations, board advising, and exit strategies. Additionally, he served as a Researcher at the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre, a PILnet Fellow at Columbia Law School, and a Program Director at Wuhan University PIDLI, where he managed legal projects sponsored by esteemed organizations such as the UNDP, the US Department of State, and the Ford Foundation, etc.
